Shimna Integrated College principal Kevin Lambe is absolutely delighted with the A level results received today.
“Not only are we celebrating every combination of results from straight A*s onwards, but also all the other achievements and successes of our students alongside academic excellence. Adam has achieved his straight A*s in the same year as he represented the UK U19 rifle shooting team in South Africa; Dara has achieve her A*s in the same year as she travelled up and down to Jordanstown qualifying as a gymnastics coach; Conor has come back inspired by our Habitat for Humanity trip to Ethiopis to change his course to construction management; Xinan achieved his Grade As from a position of starting to learn the English language, and has achieved his international qualification in English too. We are very, very proud of every single one of our students, and look forward to seeing them all again at Presentation Evening in December when we will find out how they have moved on.”
