Hazelwood Integrated College is celebrating its best ever A level results with 74% of students achieving 3+ A levels at A*-E and 41% of students achieving 3+ A levels A* – C, up 22% on last years results with 36 A/A* grades. 18 out of 22 subjects studied at Post 16 in the College achieved 100% pass rate.
Among the top achieving academic subjects are English Literature, Environmental Technology, Media Studies, Art and Design and Moving Image Arts with top marks for the vocational subjects at Advanced Level in Health and Social Care, Public Services, Business Studies, Hospitality and Catering, Creative Media Production, ICT and Sports Studies.
Principal, Kathleen O’Hare is delighted with the results, “these are our best results ever and it is a fitting way to end our 30th anniversary year, well done to all students and staff and as you go on to further fields remember to keep the spirit of Hazelwood alive in your life”.
