Hazelwood College is celebrating an outstanding set of GCSE results with 82% of students achieving 5 subjects at A* – C. The figure including English & Maths is up on last year.
We are confident that these results will maintain our status as one of the top performing non-selective schools in Belfast and that it will also keep us in the top 30 schools in Northern Ireland.
With excellent results at 5+A*-C and a growing number of these pupils achieving English & Maths, we look forward to welcoming a Sixth Form of over 200 pupils who will have the choice of studying 31 subjects across three pathways which will make them University ready, Further Education ready or Work ready at the end of their Hazelwood journey.
Top results were achieved in Science, Engineering, ICT, Moving Image Production as well as Spanish, Sports Studies and Religious Education. Congratulations are due to all our year 12 students, their teachers and also to their parents for their continued support.
