Much academic research has been conducted into the experiences of pupils in contested societies – teachers have received significantly less attention.
An investigation is currently being conducted through the UNESCO Centre at Ulster University that aims to identify the ways in which the separation of educational sectors has affected the employment of teachers and informed their professional and career choices.
