Week 7; we’ve returned to bring you this week’s poem!

On Wednesday 18th June 2014, NICIE held a poetry and art workshop at Parkhall Integrated College, Antrim. The event was to mark Community Relations week.
The event was attended by a range of year 9 to 11 pupils from five schools: Blackwater Integrated College, Malone Integrated College, Parkhall Integrated College, Shimna Integrated College and Ulidia Integrated College.
While Parkhall’s art department ran the production of an exceptional banner, NICIE and teachers ran the poetry workshop. This workshop involved pupils working together to write a poem about what integration means to them.
Every week, NICIE will be posting one of these poems. Each poem has been reproduced to reflect the creativity of those students who created them.
