“Limavady Borough Council’s annual let’s talk event” has taken part allowing students from secondary schools in the area to quiz local councillors.
With the attendance of members from Sin Fein, SDLP, UUP and DUP, the event, (a speed dating style exercise), was a great opportunity for students to ask direct questions to our concillors and, at the same time an excellent way of exchanging ideas between the concillors and their future voters.
The event took place at the Roe Valley Arts and Cultural centre / Ionad Ealaíon agus Cultúir Ghleann na Ró last week and was hosted by BBCs Mark Carruthers.
