Happy birthday to Ballymoney Model CIPS, who celebrated their 5th anniversary of becoming transformed on Tuesday 30th September.
They have said, “It was a great day and everyone enjoyed our celebrations.”
“A special assembly was held and the school’s three hundred and thirty pupils and staff were joined by former Principal Mr McVeigh, members of the Board of Governors, past teachers and Mr McCaughey from NICIE. During the assembly the pupils sang two songs, ‘We are here together’ and ‘Same and Different’. Pupils from each class spoke about each of the words that underpin the integrated ethos of the school. These words were SHARING, FRIENDSHIP, TRUST, TEAMWORK, RESPECT, HARMONY and BALANCE. The celebration continued as the birthday cake was cut and pupils decorated their own individual cupcakes.”
