The Association of Principal Teachers in Integrated Schools (APTIS) Spring Conference will take place on 8th & 9th April 2014 in Ballycastle at Corrymeela and The Marine Hotel, Ballycastle. The programme will be as follows:
Tuesday 8th April –Corrymeela
Guest speaker: Sir Bob Salisbury
The first day will take place in Corrymeela. We want to focus on where we have come from and the importance of ethos to excellence in education. As well as speakers there will be a facilitated session to allow you to discuss freely thoughts and ideas that you bring with you or which are sparked by our guest speaker. Carecall will also be there to give some much needed relaxing therapies.
Conference Dinner & Accommodation: Marine Hotel, Ballycastle
Wednesday 9th April – Ballycastle Hotel
The opening address will be given by Dr Carmel Gallagher – GTC. This day will also have workshop sessions on various topics such as: Admissions criteria, Workplace disputes, International projects. There will also be an opportunity to get an update from Noreen Campbell on NICIE’s work – i.e. Panel of Associates, Positive Pathways to integration.
