On Monday 25th November, year 12 students from Hazelwood Integrated College took part in a ‘Drive For Results’ seminar delivered by local company Amazing Brains. ‘Drive For Results’ has been designed primarily for GCSE students with the aim of helping them develop the study techniques and strategies essential for success in their upcoming GCSE exams. During the workshop students engaged in a series of interactive and motivating activities around memory techniques, multi-sensory learning, time management and revision strategies.
Head of Yr 12, Catherine Dobbin, commented: “The feedback from the pupils was fantastic, they left the session excited to try the techniques and strategies learnt today during the forthcoming exam period. A great success all round and I look forward to working with Amazing Brains in the future.”
