Last week, Fort Hill Integrated College was pleased to welcome Máirtín and Dáithí MacGabhann into school.
Organ donation is a topic close to the school’s heart and we were grateful to have Máirtín and Dáithí speak to the whole school in a virtual assembly about their journey and campaign for much needed awareness about organ donation. Mrs C Hunter also spoke to our students about her experience with the organ donation process and the importance of sharing your wishes with your family, after her sister (aged 32) sadly passed away suddenly 18 months ago.
This year saw Fort Hill Integrated become the latest integrated school to join the GAA Ulster Schools and we are the only controlled integrated school to be taking part in the Bearnageeha Cup this year. Máirtín and Dáithí were delighted to come into school to present the team with their Donate4Dáithí jersey, commissioned by O’Neills which supports the campaign.
Fort Hill Integrated College GAA jerseys and Donate4Daithi jerseys are now available in the school’s O’Neills shop at: https://www.oneills.com/uk_en/shop-by-team/education/colleges/fort-hill-integrated-college.html
