The Football Empowerment Day was a roaring success with pupils really embracing the day. Hosted at the University of Ulster (Jordanstown) by Irish FA coaches on Wednesday 5th February the event was focussed on Year 10 boys and girls from the school and aimed to give students the tools to change attitudes on social media and generate positive press.

The students enjoyed the experience of attending the University of Ulster and they were very positive – smiling and laughing all day. Year 10 pupils have been empowered to make their GCSE option choices Wednesday 12th February and Ulidia Integrated College would love to be involved with the IFA again in the future.
