Record Breaking GCSE Results at New-Bridge Integrated College!
The students of New-Bridge Integrated College have achieved the best set of GCSE results in the history of the school with 100% pass rate at grades A*-G. 89% of our pupils achieved 5A*-C at GCSE level which is over 25% above the Northern Ireland Average. Our Maths and English results have shown a significant increase in %A-C results as we now have 70% of our pupils achieving 5 A*-C grades including English and Maths.
Our students have worked hard to achieve A*/A grades across a broad range of subjects offered at the college. Over 26% of our pupils achieved a minimum of 5 A*/A grades in their subjects with some of our top students achieving up to 10 A*/A grades. I would like to thank the dedicated staff at New-Bridge for their hard work and commitment in helping the pupils to obtain these results. With such a large percentage of pupils achieving 5 or more pass grades we look forward to welcoming many of them back to continue their studies in sixth form where they can avail of a wide range of A Level subjects.
As an all-ability school we maintain the ethos that each individual can achieve their full academic potential, and in many cases beyond that expectation. At New-Bridge Integrated College, we pride ourselves on the relationship between teachers and pupils; a relationship built on trust, respect and the belief that anything is possible. The majority of our pupils will continue their education at New-Bridge Integrated College in Sixth Form, whilst some have secured places at the Southern Regional College to pursue their studies. I would like to take the opportunity to once again congratulate all our students and wish all of them every success in their future career pathways. We appreciate the ongoing support our parents have shown, in working with the college to create such a strong partnership, which has been key in our recent achievements. We thank all the teachers within the Banbridge Area Learning schools who have contributed to the pupils’ success, through delivering the Collaborative Courses.
“I am very proud of our young people and extend my gratitude to our hard working and dedicated staff. Congratulations to all our pupils!”
