Integrated College Dungannon’s Cross-Country and Athletics teams received a timely boost with the sponsorship of new running kits.

Persil have sponsored new running vests and shorts for the college teams.  A representative from Unilever Ireland, Geraldine Rice, attended the college to present the new kits to the students.

Integrated College Dungannon has a proud tradition in Cross-Country and Athletics with many notable successes including All-Ireland cross-country team titles and individual titles in cross-country and athletics at Ulster level.   Both teams, at the college, train twice weekly in preparation for district and Ulster schools’ cross-country and athletics competitions.

Principal, Mr Andrew Sleeth said, “I am delighted with the sponsorship by Unilever of these kits for our students and can assure our sponsors that they will be put to good use.  We have very strong and busy cross-country and athletic teams who are very appreciative of this kind gesture by Unilever. Our cross-country team is looking forward to wearing their new kit at the Ulster Cross Country finals in Mallusk.”
