Red Cross Ebola Collection

Megan Lindsay, Fiona Fyffe and Mr Frith School Principal
Year 12 student Megan Lindsay from Drumragh Integrated College has been extremely passionate about the Ebola Campaign and the work that the Red Cross do help support the countries who are suffering from Ebola. Megan had the idea of a non-uniform day to help raise money for the Red Cross and she successfully collected £669.13 for the campaign. Fiona Fyffe a representative from the Red Cross was presented with the cheque and explained to the students where exactly this money would be used. She explained with this amount of money raised the Red Cross could purchase one of the following items, 49 tarpaulins or 6 protective clothing kits or 6 household kits or seventy eight Ebola Chlorine killing tablets.
