After officially becoming an Integrated school in September 2021, children and staff at Harding Memorial Integrated Primary School welcomed Carl Frampton MBE to their school to celebrate their Integrated status. The Council For Integrated Education were delighted to be invited to the event.
To mark the occasion, the pupils were treated to birds of prey display and celebratory lunch. The school had also organised surprise gifts of Harding Memorial Integrated Primary School teddy bears for all pupils, staff and guests.
The wet weather couldn’t dampen spirits as Carl, school staff and children faced the rain for the official ribbon cutting under the new school signage to cheers from all in attendance. Pupils then had the opportunity to chat with Carl about Integrated, sports and playing against his daughter’s football team!
We were delighted to have been invited to what was a very special day and wish them every success going forward as an Integrated school.
