Year 9 Travel Challenge

Ulidia Integrated College pupils across year 9 have taken part in the Translink Travel Challenge this term to try and increase their sustainable travel distances. Pupils recorded how they usually travel to school and then challenged themselves to make their journey more sustainable.

Over two weeks the pupils in year 9 clocked up 7850.8 KM  of sustainable travel – That is more than 12 times the distance around the edge of Northern Ireland!  Sustainable travel includes walking, cycling, train and bus travel and even by scooter. We hope that year 9 keep up the good work.
